Return of the Housing Maps, Part III
Housing Maps are back!
They took a four month break, but the monster is up and running once again. I took a bit different approach this time around. Slightly more graphic intensive, and hopefully a lot more lean on the content transfer side. I experimented using XML, JSON, and a few other formats on how best to this specific data to the client, hopefully those efforts pay off with increased responsiveness.
Right now there is only Waterloo, in the future we'll get Guelph and Ottawa back up, and move on from there. It is surprising how little the sites I scrape data from have changed since I last saw them. Very few edits were needed to bring UW back to running order.
Please send me your feedback. When one person plays developer and tester inconspicuous things can appear obvious, and obvious things can be hard to see. So let me know what you think via email or commenting below, thanks!

Bus routes are hiding, and should return. I traced those routes point by point last spring... that... took... forever.

This is hands down the best subletting site I've ever seen. It's simple and straight forward, most sites confuse everything for no reason at all and half the time don't even tell you all the info you want to know. I'll be using (and recommending) this site often in the future, especially if you plan to have Ottawa in there.

Shortage of "e's"? :P Also, where are the bus routes?

May I suggest putting flags that the user can turn on/off to signify grocery stores, laundry facilities, etc. Just so that the user doesn't have to have another maps tab open if they don't know the area.

This is a great idea! Makes it really easy to know where the places instead of having to open a ton of windows just to figure out where each place is. Definitely will be using this. Thanks for making it =)I think that some of the addresses might be showing up wrong on the map though. Ie 2-455 Albert St. goes to what I suppose is 2 Albert Street rather than Unit 2 of 455 Albert. Not too sure.I suggest organizing sublets by term available in addition to price.
