Thats the odds in picking a random math student who passed the E.L.P.E. at UW. Its not all that great it is? A 70% fail rate is unheard of outside Systems Design.
I always had this notion that given a challenge that most math students could rise to meet it. Even when it came to writing essays. Apparently this was a large misconception on my part. I wonder what success rates the other faculties have.
