FacebookCamp Toronto 3

Edit: I will not be presenting on the 4th It looks like we were a little too late accepting our spot on the bill, and have been bumped to make room for someone else. I was really looking forward to presenting. Maybe next time.

Next Monday, February 4th, I will be presenting at FacebookCamp Toronto. There is a 15 minute segment where I will be diving in-depth into the design, implementation and marketing around Facebook for BlackBerry.

If you are in the area it would be great to have you attend. Tickets (free) are going fast. MaRS holds 380 people max.

Flash from the past

It was almost a year ago when I first shared my pencil crayon collection with you. A few months later I posted the vector art. Today we take another trip back in time and visit my Flash collection from January 2004.

I didn't want to share them, but the thought of loosing them is more scary than all your opinions. You'll recognize some of the artwork from my vector pieces. I didn't really understand image files and the importance of compression back then, so please accept my apologize upfront for delays you may have while viewing the pieces.

Each thumbnail represents a
seperate .swf file. Clicking will launch that project

I couldn't embed them all for sanity's sake

Some pieces may look empty or broken. Chances are they were never properly finished

Please take it easy on me in the comments. I was young. While I'm still ambitious, the content in some of these projects is pretty wildly written, and might make me blush.

On a slightly related note, does anyone know how I can run old code written in Object Oriented Touring?
